Flashpoint!! Now on DVD!!
I was channel surfing a while back and found a show called "Flashpoint." I fell in love with it after about 5 minutes and watched every week until the season ended. Eventually I found out that the first season was to be released on DVD this October. I'm happy to say that I purchased it last weekend and am already on disc 2! I don't even know how to describe the show other than it is about a SWAT-like team that is called to defuse and resolve hostile situations like kidnappings, hostage situations, holdups, etc. It's different than any other show I've ever seen. I highly recommend it! If you'd like to check it out let me know... I'm willing to lend out my DVDs after I've had a chance to watch them all. :)

Randomness
I haven't been able to come up with a good topic for a post lately, so I decided to just share some random pictures.
This is Lyvie, one of my mom's dogs... a shih tzu-yorkie mix. This was RIGHT after she got a haircut, that's why it's a little frightening looking. Trust me, she's super adorable in real life. :)
Sophie, my mom's other dog, a schnauzer-yorkie mix. The lady that cuts their hair has started taking their pictures with themed backgrounds. I think it's an awesome idea, but I wish she'd take their leashes off first!
My brother Bob. There is a story behind the shirt, but that will be for another day. These pictures make me laugh out loud every time I look at them!
My niece Mimi. She loves her iPhone. We were having a picture-taking war here. :)
My niece Erin and Doggie just chilling on the swing on Labor Day.
My nephew Robert Jr., although I refer to him as "Baby Bob." He had been dancing like crazy for a while before I took this, I don't remember if he fell or was just taking a break. This kid has so much energy, I have no idea how his family keeps up with him!
Carolina and Emili... such grace and elegance. :)
Erin being held by her daddy... how adorable is she!
My youngest nephew, David Andrew... more commonly referred to as "Dandy." And yes, the nickname was my idea!
Another niece, Anneliz. She's such a drama queen, but is so fun to be around!
This is Carol demonstrating how to dance to "Thriller." Watching various family members attempting to do that dance has to be one of the most amusing things I've seen in a while!
Last one... my friend Becky wearing a shirt she got in Egypt. I believe there was a bit more to it than that, but it's been a while since we talked about her trip.
Good times!

Say Hey
I cannot stand working in silence - it drives me NUTS. I usually alternate between Pandora and Slacker (nifty sites to listen to free music online), with the occasional day where I just listen to CDs I've ripped to my computer. One day a new song came on Slacker and I immediately fell in love with it. I even asked my brother to download it for me so I could have a copy no matter where I went. :) I wanted to post the music video here for all to see, but embedding has been disabled so you'll just have to follow the link below instead. The song is called "Say Hey (I Love You)" by Michael Franti & Spearhead.
I'm totally in love with it!!! Let me know what you guys think!
